Teleradiology Coverage:
We cover overflow, after hours, and emergency workload, or we can simply fill in when you run short on coverage due to vacation schedules, holidays, weekends or meetings.
Teleradiology Coverage comes in 2 types:
Radiology Daytime & Nighttime Coverage
Daytime radiology reading coverage and nighttime radiology reading coverage, also known as nighthawk nighttime radiology coverage or simply, nighthawk coverage. Generally, daytime reads are performed during the daylight hours and nighthawk reads are performed during the nighttime hours.
- Daytime Radiology Reading Coverage
- Nighthawk Nighttime radiology Coverage
Radiology Vacation, Temporary, Locums Tenens & Overflow Coverage
Our teleradiology coverage is often requested by other radiology groups for vacation coverage of their radiologists. This type of coverage is also known as virtual locum tenens where a temporary radiologist is needed for a longer time such as weeks or months. We are often called upon for temporary coverage and overflow coverage, which occurs when there is a sudden increase in the number of exams performed in a place, and the existing radiologist(s) cannot handle the increased number of exams in a timely fashion.
